Q90R HDMI 2.1 Specs

Hi. I am considering of getting samsung 55 Q90R , but i am worried about the HDMI connection because I do play quite a lot and looking for the future of getting PS5 which will have 2.1 HDMI. I am confused if the Q90R will support the 4K/120hz video connection as it says in specs it should. HDMI 2.0 is only capble to transfer 18gb of data and 4K/120hz is way more then 18gb. Will it be a problem and it is better to look for teh tv with 2.1 HDMI? Could anyone get me some info about it, thanks.

Samsung confirmed Q90R's (+Q85R) HDMI 4 port is capable only 24Gbps.

Not 48Gbps or 40!!

I live in Korea. And I've been checking if Q90R supports HDMI 2.1, since this April.

In April, Samsung confirmed to me that Q90R's port 4 supports 48Gbps.

This week, however, Samsung changed their words that port 4 supports only 24Gbps.

And they simply made excuses that the answer they gave me in April was a MISTAKE!!

Samsung explains that even if the 4th port has 24Gbps bandwidth,

it can be called 2.1 because it has been certified by the HDMI forum.

And they were even trying to teach me that "48Gbps is only for 8K". lol

Countless users of the Korean community are angry at the fact.

It would be better for European users to check this out in their current region.
