Q6 Region Change

I have a 55Q6 TV and am moving back to the UK from Germany. Friends are telling me that the Smart TV will not work correctly as it shows German Apps. I read that it might be possible to reset the region to the UK but the information is contradictory. Sometimes it says yes, through a certain procedure on the remote, but others say it is firmware locked. Can anybody clarify this. I might have to sell the TV before moving if it will not work properly.

I have seen it being done on my TV so yes it can be done. But only a certified Samsung technician can do it.

Basically the technician has a special remote control, sending special IR code to the TV and it opens a hidden menu with tons of options that can actually harm your TV if not used properly and thus it's hidden.

So you can call a technician to change the region.
