I have a UE55MU6500 a few months old and am having trouble playing movies stored on a usb memory stick. I think I need to format the USB as FAT which is no problem, I can do that using the disc utility on my mac. The actual formats for the movies I have are MP4 which I think should be okay but they dont show.
Format to NTFS and you can put files larger than 4gb on the USB stick fat and fat32 is limited to 4gb total size of 1 file so a 4k 15gb file would not transfer
My 6470 plays them fine via NTFS or streaming from my laptop
