I own a NU8009 and use it mainly on my Linux PC (GPU NVIDIA GTX1070).
Is this correct that this TV does not understand to go into standby if my PC
issues such a state?
I can manually trigger the HDMI port to standby via this command:
xset dpms force off
After that the TV goes black but then the animated circle appears and later I get the usual
HDMI1
NO SIGNAL
SOURCE
screen that stays quite forever.
So this Samsung TV can not handle the usual screen standby mode like any other PC-Monitor?
