After the last Update and the issues it caused I have turned off Automatic Updates.

Just had a message asking me to allow a new update, I have declined update until I have more information.

Does anyone know what it is for ?

Does it work ?

Thanks

Hi The past few weeks I haven't witnessed any flashs as yet on Live TV. Still getting them while watching recordings through the Sky and Humax Boxes. Its the fact the TV updated itself.I didnt want to until I read all about this new firmware. Cheers.

What was the changelog you read ?

Same here on the 7070. I was prompted yesterday to update to which i didnt just yet and powering up this morning it auto updated.

Interesting what ive been reading about the green screen issue, very occasionally happens on powering up our EE TV box. I assumed it was the EE box playing up, but simply unplugging the EE TV has always cured the problem.

I spoke with Samsung support and this is what I was advised... please see attached pictures. Looks like we are getting AirPlay for our TV’s the 2nd week of June 2019 🙌🏼

Does this means the Samsung UM8000 65 inches have HDR10+ added already?

I played Robin-Hood in 4K the new movie that came out last year 2018. I plug in the hdmi from the blu ray 4k player to the Samsung 4K TV. I normally plug it to the YAMAHA AV 4K receiver.

HDR10+....???HDR10+....???

That's fabulous news! Now if Samsung could fix the green flashes issue ...

Any news on that front?

49MU6100 here. I was on 1262 auto update off too. It updated to 1270 on its own accord anyway. Also they changed something in the color space settings. On non HDR content with color space(gamma) set to "original" the colors are now all over the place. I had to change it back to the default "auto" to keep it under control. I have every slider pretty much in the middle notch except for tone. I use "warm 2" on my profiles because it significantly reduces eye strain for me. There is definetely noticeable difference from 1262. No green flashes as of yet.
