So today my Mu8000 has decided it no longer likes Netflix.  The app refuses to play anything at all. It’s not my connection and I can use Netflix fine on the other devices in the home.

Any sensible suggestions are welcome.

Hi. You might want to ry to remove Netflix app and reinstall. If that doesn’t work unplug tv from power source as it should force all the apps to close. The latter worked for me in my new Q9FN as Netflix suddenly refused to start and I could not even reinstall it.

As @Pon11 has mentioned unplugging/reinstalling certainly an idea.  However would ensure you have the latest firmware which is 1250.5 for the MU8000.   https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/UE49MU8000TXXU/    and you may need to   to reset the Smart Hub  .  Another fix if all else fails  would be  go to Network Settings and enter manual DNS server settings of  8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4.      To navigate  go to Network  Settings-IP settings-DNS Setting  Some of this identified by Netflix or well as other troubleshooting https://help.netflix.com/en/node/85
