NU7100 setting up TV to record

Hi,

Recently have bought a new TV and getting home am trying to set up a hard drive to record and pause tv, am struggling with doing that at the moment. 

any help would be apprieciated

I think the nu series can not record. Did you check before buying?

I did not paul, I was upgrading from a 4 year old TV that died and just assumed that all new tvs these days had the ability to record/pause.

Yep it's caught a lot of people out.  If you a cheap telly like a Luxor we have in the kitchen it does but not a Samsung.  Bit like their decision to stop supporting DTS,  and again the Luxor which is half the price does.
