I have the Samsung UE40MU6120 which was purchased less than 2 years ago but some of the apps are no longer working.
BBC iplayer and My5 will not load programmes to watch on catch up. I can log in and view all the programs but when you select one to watch I get error message “oops something went wrong” I have re-started the smart hub and re-set the TV back to factory settings and they still don’t work.
Is is anyone else having the same issue?

Hi @FFDR. Is your software up to date (the latest version is 1270.3)? This link will direct you to the download file where it can be downloaded to a computer and installed using a USB stick.
Also, can you try resetting the Smart Hub? To do this go to Menu > Smart Hub > Reset Smart Hub. At this point you will be prompted to enter a PIN. If you have not set one up this will be 0000.

Hi @FFDR An idea is to reset the Tv by switching off at mains for a few minutes, you may need to reinstall the apps to see if that makes any difference.

Possibly you may need to get in touch with Samsung Support https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/, if no joy Moderators may provide further advice.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

I also have this on 3 of my Samsung Tv's that were ok a few weeks ago. I remember this happening a couple of years ago and Samsung sent out unreleased firmware on usb sticks.
