I have a samsung UE50MU6120KXXU which as far as I am aware has HDR+ but I can’t activate it on the PS4 Pro even though it’s turned on, on the tv.

any thoughts why I can’t activate it on PS4?

It's not HDR+ , it's just called HDR. To turn hdr on you have to go to picture settings turn on uhd colour . Then go to ps4 display settings and put 2160 rgb on . Now if you play a hdr game it will come on .

As said UHD color needs to be turned on for the relevant hdmi port

My Ue49mu6400 could not hold any connection with my PS4 pro over 1080 due to black screen drop outs due to handshake issues. This was blamed on cables and pritty much every thing else by Samsung but guess what when I replaced the TV with a new non Samsung one it seems to be working fine.

Years I suffered and alot of money spent replacing everything in my set up because Samsung refused to admit my TV had an issue
