Hi,

 

Is there a plan to support non bandwidth features like eARC and dynamic HDR (HDR10+) on 2016 KS sereies and 2017 QLED models

 

If HDR10+ can be supported via app then is it possible to incoproprate same via HDMI as dolby vioson already support dynamic HDR using HDMI 2.0b

I had seen than there is a lot of people asking about implement eARC or similar capabilities on the TVs by firmware, as you can see in:

Do you know something implement eARC by firmware on UE49KU6400 @JAMES4578?

Hi @Hewell , Unfortunately  no indication at present of any eARC firmware update for the UE49KU6400.   As this is a 2016 model which seem unlikely in near future.
