Digital camcorder

I have a samsung 48 inch UHD TV. 9 months old.How do I connect a digital handycam to the TV. I have a USB Cable and the RED /YELLOW/WHITE CABLE. I have connected  both  these  cables to the  TV, selected the required  function. Caption on TV screen says  No Signal.

Can you please advise me what I have to  do.

Hey there, Horby!

This would suggest that the Camcorder has not been recognised by the TV. Do you have a different cable that you can try with it? Alternatively, can you test the cable with a different TV to see if the connection is recognised? This will rule out a faulty cable.
