I purchased a UE40MU6400 television in early July of this year to replace a 2 year old Panasonic set. The TV is great, but in the last week, I have noticed some darker/dim areas at the bottom of the screen (more noticeable on brighter/white images).
I this something I should be worried about, given the fact that the set is just over 2 months old?

Yes if it was ok then things change for the worse then report it to you retailer as a fault.
