Connecting TV

Hi, I'm trying to connect my TV, Soundbar and Bluray player to my Alexa. My TV has integrated smart hub. My 1st question is: do I have to purchase a separate smartthings hub?

The second issue I have is that I have downloaded the Smartthings/Samsung Connect app through Alexa skills but it won't discover my devices. I have also downloaded the Samsung Connect app from Google play. This has discovered and recognised my Soundbar, but not my TV.

All are connected to the same wireless network.

Any help, hints or tips would be greatly appreciated 😀

I have been looking in to this and believe there is no real solution from Samsung. Smart things apparently does sync to a few 2016 TVs. I don’t have the hub so am not sure if they have solved things recently, but I am not looking to buy this at the moment.

There is an expensive one from Harmony that offer intergration with Alexa ( I think).
