Hey, never posted here before. Been busy calibrating my QE650R, and it's a pretty good TV but, getting the gamma right is bugging me lol.

Basically I believe leaving the gamma at bt 1886 is the best option, but, I get confused when I get this slider underneath it which starts at 0 and can go from - 3 to +3. What does this do? I thought bt 1886 was a one for all setting.

@Oldschooltyguy: If you go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > HDR+ Mode > On > Gamma, then you can choose between ST.2084 and BT.1886. The Slider below allows you to slightly adjust these presets from -3 to +3, so I just comes down to what produces the most natural and comfortable picture for you.

But what is it adjusting exactly? The gamma itself? Or just dimming it?

I was under the impression say if 0 equals 2.2 then - 3 sets it to 2.5?

It just dims the Gamma/Brightness
