No matter where I put the settings on the Auto Motion  or Digital Clean View which alledges to smooth the picture I get lots of judder or whatever your want to call it. This is especially annoying when watching live sports. It is almost unwatchable. If I had known how bad this would be I would never have bought this fancy QLED 4K 65 inch overpriced piece of poo. I would rather have the less crisp pitcher that doesn't jump around on a 65 inch tv i can get from Walmart for $600

I have to agree.  The judder with the Q9FN is horrendous. I wont be buying another Samsung

You need to calibrate the set, if you haven't already. Once you do THAT, it's quite good- but for most that I've seen complaining about the Samsung 4k SUHD Sets have the default High Contrast Store modes still set. Try this:

Full Calibration:
PICTURE
Picture Mode: Movie
Backlight: 9
Contrast: 92
Brightness: 45
Sharpness: 25
Color: 53
Tint: G51/R49

PICTURE SIZE
Picture Size: 16:9
Fit to screen: ON

ADVANCED SETTINGS
Dynamic Contrast: OFF
Black Tone: OFF
Flesh Tone: 0
RGB Only Mode: OFF

WHITE BALANCE (2 point)
R-Offset: -2
G-Offset: 5
B-Offset: 0
R-Gain: 0
G-Gain: -7
B-Gain: 3

WHITE BALANCE (10 point) (R, G, B)
10%: 49, 41, 30

Could you please help me.
I have just purchased a Q90R. I'm looking for the smoothest motion possible. I actually like the soap opera effect unlike 90% of the world. Should i just leave LED Clear Motion clicked with Judder reduction set to 10? Would this be my best option? When choosing this Blur Reduction is automatically set to Zero.
thank you for your help.

Hi  @Forza, yes if you would like the soap opera effect  I think you would be best witrh Clear Motion selected, it does reduce the blur in this setting. More here https://www.samsung.com/in/support/tv-audio-video/what-is-led-motion-plus/

Some recomendations for Q90R but some will be different from your own preferences.  http://best-tv-settings.com/tv-settings-samsung-q90/

Avfoums.com has far superior settings, and also rtings.com has additional settings if you don't like the avforums settings.  These settings are going to give you mediocre viewing at best.

The Rtings settings  were  included along with others on the link I posted. However I will post  a direct link here as it gives additional information https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/q90-q90r-qled/settings

By all means also have a look at Av Forums

I always see the Movie picture mode recommended. I find it to be too dark to enjoy anything I sm watching, including live sports.  Is there a brighter picture mode that can be calibrated to reduce the judder/skipping for the Q70R?

Thanks
