Apple TV error code 125059

I’ve had my QE55Q90R Tv for a week 

apple tv was working but today it’s stopped.

i powered the TV off as that’s what it says to do.

 

now Apple TV is not even installed and every time I try to install it I get an error code 125059

The some problem here in Brazil with Crystal série 7000. I very disappointed with it! I buy the new Tv today, but the Apple TV doesn’t work!

Hi all,

 

Cheers for letting us know! We've flagged this one to HQ.

 

For those still affected, then a soft reset of the TV should resolve (as it'll force re-install the apps): 

 

Settings -> General  -> Reset

 

(Smart Hub reset won't work apparently.)

Can con confirm reset does the trick - now to get the tv working the way it was originally as it removes all the previous settings you had.

just tried soft reset.

It did not initially resolve issue with AppleTV app. 
Although app was shown as installed, I had Reinstall app again.
Before resetting tv this previously caused the code 125059 error.

 

steps to get atv working; q70

 

1: soft reset tv: Settings -> General  -> Reset

2: reinstall atv app: apps->settings->ATV->Reinstall

Glad to hear that folks are reporting that it's fixed for them. :smiling-face:

 

And just an update on this one for anyone still affected.  As WoooKay suggested above, this should also now resolve it, and be less of a pain than a reset:

 

Home > Apps > Settings (cog) > choose the affected app > Re-install

Hi AntS,
I needed to do both Steps 1 & 2 in order to resolve the issue.
Just doing step 1: atv App failed to open
Just doing step 2: returned 125059 Error
