AirPods not working with Anynet+/HDMI-CEC

I have a Samsung Q9 65 with the latest firmware (version 1260) and use Anynet+/HDMI-CEC to connect a SONOS sound system which works well.

However, when I select the AirPods as the sound source with Anynet+/HDMI-CEC enabled, the AirPods connect for approximately two seconds then the sound reverts to the SONOS sound system.

If I disable Anynet+/HDMI-CEC, then the AirPods stay connected and work well.

Is there a way I can use the AirPods without having to disable the Anynet+/HDMI-CEC feature each time ?

Hi,
Did you find any solution to this problem that you can share? I just met it too.

Sorry I did not find a solution. The only way it works is if you disable Anynet and use the built in TV speakers but then you lose your surround sound !
