Mine is also still greyed out, using HDMI inputs only, can someone confirm if equalizer is supposed to be available on all inputs?

I have a one week old 2019 Q80R 65" and I cannot access EQ in Expert mode. I have tried with TV speakers only and with a soundbar connected through HDMI arc, but still no access Equalizer.

Treble is too low and I would like to raise. 😔

I have the same model with a Samsung soundbar. Out of the box the sound is really terrible, sounds like an AM radio.

Tried Optical connection and the equaliser remained greyed out. Switched to a bluetooth connection, reset the sound and suddenly I was able to improve the sound using the equaliser.

Still, sound via soundbar is surprisingly low quality tbh.

Also could try turning amplify off under sound mode.
