samsung ps51d550 a few issues?? Help please

Hello, and thanks for taking time to read.

Basically ive just inherited a PS51D550 HD 3D TV and theres a few problems, first of all i have 4 vertical lines going down the screen they are the black and white speckly/moving pixel lines, anybody know if possible to sort this out??

also with reguard to internet conection at the moment im running a ethernet cable down my stairs!! ive tried my usb dongle but it wont recognise it, ive updated the tv software and still no joy. do i need a particular dongle for this tv??

and with reguard to mirroring my laptop to the screen wirerlessly ive not found a way to do this yet either...

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you able to run a Picture Test on your TV to check those lines? Guide on how to do that is here.

The Samsung WIS12ABGNX Wireless LAN Adaptor here is the one we'd recommend using with this model.

Also, check out this screen mirroring troubleshooting guide. Unsure if your laptop is compatible though.
