Hello, i've just purchased UE49KU6400 4K TV and i would like to know what LAN adapter does it have?

"My router showing below message: Wired client on port 4 is running at 100 Mbps.

Device connected on port 4 is running at a lower speed of 100 Mbps and is not utilizing the full available speed."

I'm connected with CAT7 direct cable into Virgin Super hub 3.0 which has 10/100/1000 LAN ports.

Thanks.

Hi

I think quite often if not always TVs and other streaming devices (currently at least) are limited to using Ethernet at 100Mbps.   There is little advantage to supporting higher speeds on TVs and other streaming boxes as usually the video codecs and maximum levels they support do not require any higher bit-rate, at this time anyway.

If they can save a few pence by only providing the lower speed, they will.

On the plus side with a bit of know how it's easy to carry 2 connections at 100Mbps over a single Ethernet cable, which means in our house the TV and streaming box are wired with just one cable running around the house to the switch.

Regards

Phil
