Sync TV remove of UE49KS9080 with JBL CInema Base

Hi there,    

I just moved from a Philips TV to this Samsung 49" UE49KS9080.

It seems that the remote is not able to work with the JBL base as it was before.

Only power is detected, neither volume up or down are detected.

Is there any solution to that?

Tried a search under UK models but drawn a blank with that model number. Where did you get the TV from?

Also, are you using a Universal Remote? And how do you have the TV connected to the Cinema Base?
