Samsung soundbar + r1 connectivity with non Samsung tv

I have a Panasonic TV connected to a Samsung HW-MS651 soundbar, I have two Samsung R1 wireless speakers and linked them to the soundbar via Samsung multiroom app. I can play music through the system using a smartphone but not the tv . Can anyone help please as to how to listen to the tv sound through the sounbar and speakers.

Have you checked the 'output' settings of your TV to see if you have the option of 'external speaker' or something similar?

Hi thanks for your reply, would this have to be connected through wires? I’m looking for a wireless solution if possible
