Hello,
I recently became the owner of a Q7F 2018 model. I previously had the 2017 model but now i ended up with this one.
I mostly use this TV as a PC monitor and it works perfectly. I have noticed the following issue: When I enable PIP (picture-in-picture) from PC (HDMI1) at 1080p 120 Hz, the PIP window does not even appear but the audio of the TV channel is heared. Meaning that the PIP tried to bring up the TV channel in a window and failed, but still plays the sound.
When my PC is working at 1080p 60 Hz, the PIP works perfectly fine.
Note that I upgraded to firmware 1134.0 (latest) but the problem still remains.
Any suggestions?

Hello Andrew,
No offense but you seem to not be familiar with the 2018 lineup QLED specs.
I can assure you that this TV is capable of up to 1440p at 120Hz and 3840x2160 at 60Hz.
1080p 120Hz is perfectly fine for this TV and it's not a struggle to playback at these rates. (I have been playing GTA V on a resolution of 1440p at 120 Hz and 120 fps perfectly fine for weeks now)
120 Hz is actually the native refresh rate of the panel. It's just that you can only go up to 60 Hz with 4k resolution due to HDMI 2.0 limitations.
Regarding the display port, this TV does not have any display port inputs and it only has HDMI inputs. HDMI 2.0 is perfectly capable of 120 Hz and display port is not necesairy for this.
You can do a quick check on this site: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/q7fn-q7f-q7-2018
in which they have done extensive tests for everything that this TV can do.
Anyway, my problem is with PIP. In the manual it clearly states that the requirements for PIP to work, is for the input resolution to be less than FHD (1080p) (it means the TV channel's resolution). And yes the channels have resolution of 1080i which fits the requirements. You can find these requirements on page 109 of the manual (http://downloadcenter2.samsung.com/content/UM/201807/20180725104302386/ENG_KM2DVBEUN-2.0.2_180720.5....)

Hello again Andrew,
Embedded videos in a web page, means that I cannot use PIP and view videos at the same time from the TV's browser which is not the case in my situation since as far the TV is concerned, I'm only using HDMI1 no matter what kind of videos or anything else I do with my PC at that moment.
Well eventually I played with all the PIP settings and discovered the following:
When using HDMI in UHD mode and input is set to 120 Hz (only when using UHD and 120 Hz), PIP is not working. But! If I change the position of the PIP's window (it gives 4 positions: top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right), it works but in weird ways:
Top left: PIP window is displayed but with completely wrong ratio - it has double X, correct Y
(screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rTJJe2j03kpHg9Xdm2YjuJrA0JuXkRxj/view?usp=sharing)
Bottom left: same as above
Top right: Garbage display - full screen X on the top
(screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jZWuUtvbo890qd3alSZFShYYet_8Tlje/view?usp=sharing)
Bottom right: Garbage display - full screen X on the bottom

Note: Black boxes over the chrome's bookmarks tab have been added by me for privacy reasons - they are not part of the problem.
This clearly is a weird bug on the firmware (even the latest one) and I hope it gets fixed eventually with an update.
Anyone else has this TV (or maybe a Q6, Q8 or Q9) to do this test and let me know if it's a generic issue for everyone?
