No BBC iplayer for 6 weeks now on UE37ES6300. Any ideas?

Hi @JohnB2

 

Let's run through some troubleshooting to hopefully get this sorted! :smileyhappy:

 

Is the software on your TV up to date? Check if there are any available updates via Menu → Support → Software Update. 

 

Is the app up to date? If it isn't then update it and also, give the Smart Hub a reset via Menu → Support → Smart Hub → Reset.

Many thanks for this. First of all the Software Update was in faded print, then it said it was not available. I tried the "reset" but it said it was already working. So I went back into the Menu again and saw "Alternative Software" which I had not noticed before. I clicked to upddate that and the TV turned off and on again and would you believe I was able to get BBC iPlayer.

 

So thank you very much for your suggestions which eventually got the thing working.
