How do I turn off subtitles over DLNA? MU6500

Hi,

Just purchased a 49MU6500 - enjoying it very much so far. However, some videos I have in MKV format using Serviio as the DLNA server now show the subtitles (I don't think my old LG TV supported this). Is there anyway of turning them off that I am missing? Subtitles are off for the TV, and they are also off in Serviio (as is trancoding). Is there something I might be missing for subtitles from an external source? Or am I going to have use something like MKV tools to strip out the unwanted files?

Thanks in advance

Press the ok button. Move the icon to the right pass fast forward all the way to the right and select that menu it should say subtitles and then you can turn them off. I have to do this everytime too over DLNA

Bulshit... it's unbelievable that you spend 1000 € in a tv and it does something like that...

How the heck are those devs so lazy? We deserve a better solution to this issue than "turn them off in every single playback "
