Hi

I received an older model Samsung as a back up tv and just wondering if this model has a Hotel Mode. I want to limit the volume so someone cant jack up the volume above a specific level. I tried MUTE - 1-1-9 and it says "not available in current mode". Does this model support hotel mode or am I supposed to use a different mode? Is there a different function code I'm supposed to enter??

The error message comes up right after pressing 1-1-9. Not even a chance to input "Ok".

Called Samsung direct. Apparently they make 2 diff. versions of tv's. Those for consumer purchase (no hotel mode) and those for commercial purpose (includes hotel mode). A consumer can buy a commercial tv if you want hotel mode. This sucks since other brands have hotel mode (like my 60" Panasonic plasma) in retail version.

to my knowledge, all samsung TVs have a hotel mode, but are you tested with Mute + 119 + OK?
