Started to have problem with Arc Connection for UHD  Blu Ray Player a few days ago, relatively new Player but initially this connection initially worked fine as it did with older  BR Player.  works fine on another port and tried Sky Box on HDMI3 to test it out  and  same problem there also.  I do have the latest firmware updates, 1260.6 for the TV.  From posts here and on other places  know some customers have had issues, though first time since I purchased this model late 2017.  I did  contact Samsung at the weekend  and was offered a call from AV specialst, so will see if they can  assist-

Basically  I have tried several fixes such as Anytime Plus  (HDMI CEC)  on and off and have tried a  new HDMI cable  Syncwire HDMI Cable but made no difference.  I have also  tried disconnecting cables and unplugging both devices from 10 minutes to an  hour  , plus resets.   HDMI3 says unknown device when reconnected with  the Red Power symbol, going through  universal remote says no signal on that port and continually says power on(when green light present) before usually switching to other source.  Whilst can still use devices fine still a bit frustrating issue has now occured.

So Av specialist reset HDMI connections via Remote Management and also performed other resets (including service reset) but it did not make a difference.  Tried different devices in that port (as had done previously myself) but no joy thus far.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

If it worked ok at first and you do not change any settings then I would suggest that the tv has developed a fault.
