Create Desktop Card Button

There should be a Plus button on top of the widget selection to create a Desktop Card so that we do not have to go to the end of the list to create new one.

I wanted to create calendar widget. On left side of the homepage, i had to first go to the end of the list .. create new card.. then move that card to the very left. 

It would be useful if plus button could quickly create a new card next to the current showing card.

That's a good suggestion!
While it is easy to create a new card, it then has to be dragged to the specific slot, so I can see how your suggestion might improve that
