S8 smart view not working

I have a Nokia but wanted to share that by removing all devices in TV settings (general-external device manager-device connection manager-device list) I was then prompted to allow phone at next connection attempt and it is working again

Ok.Finally worked it out. This works on my series 9 55 inch tv.

Go to settings^network^expert settings^mobile device manager^mobile device list^edit and delete everything that's there or anything that's allowed. Wipe it clear!.Has to be empty.

Now finally get out of your main menu and go to your phone, drop down your menu and hit Smart view. When pop up says 'allow' simply

Allow it and away you go.

Yes we've done that many times. It works for a short while and then same issues return.  I was excited for a moment but that's the basic reset which doesn't fix the problem long term in our experience.

 

I've set it to request permission every time which means pressing yes 7 times a day but it's far more stable as a result.

 

I've been wondering if it's possible to clear the tv cache. I'm presuming it has somehting as you can cancel your signal but it will keep running on the tv for up to a minute sometimes.  If that's a 4k video that's a fair amount of info being buffered about.  I wonder if this is where many of the issues are. I'm guessing it auto wipes after every video but possibly it's not and that causes an overflow . I don't know I'm not a technician lol and I shouldn't have to know after paying out 3k£€$ :?

I spoke to a samsung rep and they said their own customer service was a joke and acknowldged all the issues I've brought up. They knew there were issues but as they fixed them in newer phones they haven't bothered to fix them. What they have done is just use the app to bypass the issues but the app has problems so....typical.

I had my S8+ connected to 1 of my 2 series 6 samsung smart TVs just yesterday.

I go to connect it today and smart view doesmt even find either of my "smart" TVs.

I can still use my phone as a remote to operate both TVs. 

Everything is up to date.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Last week I got software update in my Samsung S8 , after that I am not able to connect or share my scree with my smart TV. Kindly provide a solution .
