Hi,

You did not mention what phone you have so I will just use my note 8 as example.

When your screen is on AOD do the following:
1) Pres the power button once to light the screen up (don't unlock it though)
2) When you screen has lit up and you see the time + your screensaver Press on the clock
3) When you press on the clock you will see time in: HH:MM:SS format.

This way you can see the clock showing seconds. For the notification bar I have not figured out yet how to do this.

Great. On my Essential phone it's very nice having seconds always visible at the top of the screenn. Great for public transportation where seconds are useful.

This is for only a frustratingly short time. I use my phone to synchronise and confirm the accuracy of my watch for ship navigation. Unless I see seconds permanently it becomes useless. My Sony Z1-5 all showed this, now the A52 doesn't.

Samsung Galaxy A32 cell phone. I tried everything, including viewing You Tube. The links in the settings they say to tap are not in my cell phone.
