It maybe worth checking if your phone was set up to auto back up to Samsung Cloud or one of the Google online vaults or a Sd card @F2C 

Personally after losing all my photos after my Sd card corrupted I now auto update to Dropbox everytime I take a photo.

There are some software programmes available that purport to be able to recover lost data but as I've never used them I cannot endorse any. Many are paid for software too.

If you need to retrieve deleted photos from your Samsung J3 smart phone without backup, my suggestion is Samsung data recovery software. Usually, it can help you access to the deleted photos and display them on program window in red before they are not overwritten by new data. Then you can choose them to recover.
