I have a Galaxy S8+ and I want to use the Samsung Music App.  I don't do streaming, Spotify, downloaded music, etc.  I like old school MP3s which live in storage on my phone.  I have several hundred songs currently in my Google Play music library.  Is there a way to get them into the Samsung Music app library?  Thanks

I prefer the Samsung Music App too @GhostSpyRacer  which is one app I downloaded onto my Samsung phones.

I have my music on my MacBook Air so I used the Android Transfer software.

After hooking up my phone to the Mac with the charging / data cable and then launch Android Transfer I can drag and drop my albums from the folder on my MacBook Air directly into the music folder on my phone.

There will be an alternative piece of software if you use windows

Just Google Search  :smiling-face:

BandOfBrothers - thanks for the reply.  The thing is, I already have all of the files on my phone.  My problem is getting the Samsung Music app to recognize them.  It currently shows just one song (that Over the Horizon track they use).  Any ideas on that?

Thats weird.

As long as the music tracks are on the formats the Samsung Music App can recognise it shouldn't be an issue  !

BoB - Thanks.  I worked it out.  I think I just had them buried "too deep".  Once I took them out of a folder called iTunes and put them straight into the Music folder then they all showed up.

Installing and downloading music apps on Samsung phones is simple and completely free on Ch play.
