S8 suddenly stopped working

My S8 was at about 40% batery when it just went completely black and died. Plugging it into a computer, chargers, restart and reset buttons do nothing. Looking around this seems to be a fairly common issue but I havent been able to find a solution. Has anyone had any luck?

@narsheptha: Sorry to hear that you have experienced this issue with your Galaxy S8. If you connect it to your charger and press the Volume Down and Power buttons together for around 10 seconds, are you able to return power to the device in this manner? Similarly, are you able to try another compatible charger to see if this helps? If you're unable to switch on the phone then please visit a Support Centre near you where an engineer will be able to inspect and repair the device.
