S8 Oreo 8.0 Bluetooth Issues

I upgraded to Oreo 8.0 yesterday and Google Play Music keeps freezing when i use Bluetooth headphones.  Usually rights itself as soon as I turn the headphones off.   When it freezes the music keeps playing but the phone becomes unusable the longer I leave it. The fingerprint scanner won't even work and I've to reboot the phone.  I've cleared cache on the apps and Bluetooth, unpaired all Bluetooth devices and then paired only the headphones. I've never had issue with Google Play Music or Bluetooth headphones until upgrading to Oreo 8.0.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Hi @Gavo36

My s8 is working as it should after the update.

I use Bose SoundLink AE2 Bluetooth headphones.

As a very last resort create a back up and factory reset.

Current Phone ~

Samsung Note 10+ 5G _256Gb > Model: SM-N976B._ Samsung One Ui / Pie.

Samsung Gear s3 Frontier Watch
Samsung Galaxy Tab A {2016}SM-T580

Hey thanks for the reply. Turns out I was wrong....really wrong.  What happened is that I deleted m3u playlist files from my sd card but Google Play Music was still looking for them, when it couldn't find them it crashed. Was just a coincidence that I had headphones connected every time it happened.

So my bad and my apologies
