Hi @Shaz

Yes the Sd card maybe struggling with the content as some have better speeds than others  or its possibly corrupted in some way.

You can change the location of where content is saved by launching your Camera App.

Then choose the cog on the Right Hand corner of the screen.

Scroll down to Storage Location and choose Device.

Then make another video and see if it saves and plays as it should.

Glad that helped.

Perhaps try moving the videos you cant play from your Sd card to the phones storage to see if they'll play.

If they do try moving them then back to the Sd card and try again.

Hi @Shaz

Are you using the camera app that came already on the phone ?

Are you saving content to the phones storage or a Sd Card  ?

Hi

I am using the internal phone camera and it is saving the videos onto the sd card. Is this maybe the problem some how?

If so why would this be and can i change the setting somehow to still save onto sd card but maybe different format?

Hi yes that is working fine now. I saved a video then moved it to the sd card and it played ok.

The videos I have on the sd  card when I try to open come up with a message saying "failed to play video, an unknown error has occured". Are these videos lost for good or is there a way to retrieve them?
