Hi @Sharon68

What you may find is that one of the free apps youve downloaded has ad's baked into it.

To find out put the phone into Safe Mode which will turn off all the downloaded apps and leaves the stock ones alone which can then help you clarify.

Turn the device off.

Press and hold the Power key past the model name screen.

When "SAMSUNG" appears on the screen, release the Power key.

Immediately after releasing the Power key, press and hold the Volume down key.

Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.

Safe mode will display in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Release the Volume down key when you see Safe Mode.

Uninstall apps that are causing a problem.

Turn off safe mode.

Press and hold the Power key.

Tap Restart.

The phone itself has a built in pop up blocker to stop pop ups while your surfing the web but that wont stop ones already in a downloaded app.

If your using the stock Samsung Internet App then launch it and tap the 3 little dots in the top Rh corner. Press settings and then advanced. The pop up blocker is there.

How do you tell in safe mode which app has brought the pop ups?

Hi @AlishaThorn. This would just be a process of elimination and you'd have to delete apps starting from the latest you've downloaded until you find the culprit!

Maybe u downloaded an app that's comes full of ads. Check which one.
