I'm going from an s7 edge to an s8. I've backed up the s7 edge and restored everything to the s8 but some photos haven't been restored. They're still on the s7 but haven't transferred over. Most of them have but a select few haven't. How do I restore ALL photos?

@Chezjh: Were all the photos on the S7 Edge saved to your internal storage, or did you use an SD card? Did you use the Smart Switch mobile or PC app to move the images across to the S8? Please be aware that your Google account may have archived your images, therefore I recommend checking Google Photos on your phone (Apps > Google (folder) > Photos) or on your PC by checking the link below.

All photos are saved in internal storage. I dont have an sd card. I didnt use smart switch nor my pc. I used the backup and restore in my settings which I have done for every phone since. I looked in my Google photos and I dont have anything saved in there or archived.

It's only a select few photos that won't transfer over. All the rest restored perfectly fine

@Chezjh. Do the pictures that won't move over share anything in common such as the format or file size? If you still have access to the old phone I recommend trying Smart Switch to see if you can move the photos over successfully in this manner. Check out the link below to find out more.
