Galaxy S5 mini and marshmallow

After the download of new firmware ''marhmallow '' my Samsung Galaxy S5 has a problem with the light sensor, that is now very very slow (when it works), it takes about 30 seconds to check the ambient light and adapt the screen.

Is there someone with the same problem? 

I hope they will release a new firmware!

Hey @Federicojj,

 

Can you place your phone into Safe Mode and check whether it reacts in the same way? 

 

Can you also let us know of any other troubleshooting you've tried so far?

Ok, with the "safe mode" my smartphone is now working perfectly, like before the "marshmallow" update.

Should i reset my phone to solve the problem?

Hi @Federicojj.

 

If the phone is working OK in safe mode, this would usually indicate that a third party app is causing the issue.

 

You can check this by deleting any recently installed apps individually, to see if you can isolate which app may be causing the issue.
