Edge Screen S8

For some reason I cannot get the Edge Screen to update. It keeps coming back as saying no data, item no longer available. Any help appreciated.

Try turning the phone Off and On.

      Gave that a try but still getting the same message. Remembered to take a screenshot this time though.

Thank you for trying the soft reboot.

What are you trying to 'update'

It could be beneficial to close down the phone and use the process to clean your system cache files.

Then if required back up and as a last resort Factory Reset.

A Samsung Service Location would be able to run a diagnostic on the phone.

Hi BandOfBrothers,

                                       It was just the EdgeScreen. When I went into it it showed there was an update but it refuses to update. It's working fine though so not going to worry about it.

I had a recent update too which for the s8 was to do with the edge lighting.

I purchased my phone in May,  I have the same issue for this app.  The app is pre-loaded and can't be removed. Curious that a new product would ship apps that are not authorized for my country... USA
