Hey guys , just letting you know that I gave up on Samsung updates.
Reverted to Nougat, it took me an hour all in all with Odin and Samsung Switch. Life is good again:
[FIX THAT WORKED FOR ME]
S7 Flat (G930F)
Build number: R16NV.G930FXXS2ERH6
OREO ASPL: August 1
-For S7 Flat G930F, download the latest CP file from this link: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&fli*d=271404 REMOVE "*"
-Download the latest ODIN, (mine is 3.13) https://odindownload.com/
-Download Samsung USB drivers: https://developer.samsung.com/common/download/check.do?actId=698
-Unplug your phone from the PC and install the USB drivers, Restart your PC after setup is finished.
-Plug in your phone while in download mode and open ODIN
Your ODIN should look like this, if not, reinstall USB drivers and try again, don't forget to unplug your phone while reinstalling.
-Click on "CP" and chose the file you downloaded from Android File Host. (CP_G930FXXU2ERG2_CP10089541_CL13895453_QB18811252_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 on my case)
-Click on Start
-If Sucess appears on the log your work is done, I suggest you Hard Reset your phone.
Hope I helped someone.
Hi! Please tell us, is there much of a difference in terms of UI between android 8 and 7? Personally I don't wanna switch back because I have this feeling I won't like the UI of android 7. Could you please comment on this.
