I use Carmode daily to place & recieve calls on my S8 when driving. It has worked well till about a week ago. Now as the title says when I say... "Hi Galaxy .... call forename surname" I get a reply of "Sorry forename not found in your contacts".
Of course the contact is in my contacts & I can manually call them. Google assistant recognises the contacts name & places the call correctly.
I have uninstalled carmode & caremode remote & rebooted then reinstalled both. Still the same. I tried to check carmode permissions bt it strangely does not need any !
I tried installing older version of both, but still the same.
I have tried googling but nothing seems to be relevant to carmode.
I'm struggling here, can someone help me with this please ?
