Can an app installed in the Secure Folder wipe the phone?

Some apps have permission to initiate a full remote wipe of the phone. Can an app that's installed in the Secure Folder do this, or is it sandboxed away & can only really wipe the secure folder itself.. or does it have full access to wipe the whole phone?

@endpoint101: Which apps were you referring to in particular? Find My Device by Google and Find My Mobile by Samsung allow you to remotely wipe your device, however this must be manually initiated.

Specifically, 'Microsoft Intune Company Portal', but could be any of the 'security' apps that include remote wipe functionality.

@endpoint101: Intune Company Portal does allow you to remotely wipe a device, however as is the case with Find My Mobile and Find My Device, this feature must be manually activated. As this is a third party app I'm not sure of any restrictions the Secure Folder might present, therefore I recommend reaching out to Microsoft Support to see if they're able to shed any light.
