I like to use health app to track various activities.  However I'm disappointed that I'm unable to add exercise or activity that was not recorded by a phone or watch.

E.g. battery low so on power saving and go for a run or go swimming for 30 minutes or 1 hr of a sport etc.

I'd just like to be able to go in and retrospectively add the details for duration or from a non compatible device that did record the details.

Any help to get this added as a feature would be welcomed.

I have to wear a manual pedometer at work it only tracks the number of steps and distance. I wish there was a way to enter that data into Samsung Health. I'm not concerned about the time it took.

you could covert your steps to miles (or your pedometer may already do that for you) and input that into the excerice part of the app. At least this way you can track your miles day to day. I don't think it will show up in your step count in S Health but at least you can track it.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I uploaded a pic of my pedometer as proof for my steps. Doesnt quite help with the step challenges but oh well.

Were you ever able to find something more accurate? I wear a HR monitor while doing CrossFit so I would love to be able to enter those calories.

Nope. The closest thing I've been able to do is use Under Armour Record. I have to adjust the time to get as close to my actual steps as possible.

if I add a work out in the AM then do a work out in the PM how do I add the second work out? It just opens up the first work out that I already logged when I follow your steps.
