From here select device folders sketch-1491428415520.png

Next you will see images and folder names which when you click will open the folder showing the photos in sideScreenshot_20170406-091707.png

Now when inside the folder select a photo and you will see 3 small dots in the top right click that and you will see this menuScreenshot_20170406-091942.png

From here you can select to delete from the device only or you can back it up before doing so if the automatic back up is turned off.

Hope that helps. :smileyhappy:

Hi again the cloud means it has not been uploaded in your picture.

On the 1st screen when you bring up the app look in the top right for a cloud with a line through it,

Tap the cloud and this will come up

Just tap the slider and it will turn on the upload and upload ALL photos. Or you do each one manually like in your photo and tap the cloud with the arrow. :smiling-face:

Hi! its a easy one to fix :smiling-face:

To delete photos from Device ONLY
From the Google Photos go to Settings>Free up Device Storage
this will only delete the photos on the phone you have already uploaded on to the drive :smiling-face:

or

You can also delete device copies manually
Settings/Device Folders

- Select the photo/s
- Click Menu/Delete Device Copy

Hope it helps

Thankyou . Only thing is I have some photos in folders I want to keep on there as I haven't put my Google photos In folders yet . I used to be able to just go on Google photos delete things and vise versa off my photos without them deleting off each other if you know what I mean

I don't have a huge amount of knowledge with this app as I use the Samsung one all the time, but I can only see options for removing the odd few or the whole lot for the few you select a image and then in the top right click the 3 dots and remove device copy for use on the phone which would leave it fine on the cloud and if you go in to your google drive you can select to do the same by deleting off the cloud but not the phone I think. :smiling-face:
