Dual messenger Whatsapp group notifications keep coming back

My Samsung keeps resetting the group notifications for both Whatsapp apps installed with dual messenger. I already tried to reinstall Whatsapp. Also group notifications are fully disabled in both whatsapps as well as the Samsung settings. Is this a bug on the Samsung A8 2018 Android P or is there a way to stop group messages giving notifications?

Same problem here. Can't seem to figure out whats the problem here. And I'm on the Samsung Galaxy S9 with Android 9.

I have the same issue, dual messenger whatsapp on galaxy S8.  Just the group notifications get reset.
