Steam Oven BQ1VD6T131

I am trying to use the steam function of the dual function steam oven and the light is flashing. The oven remains totally cold, so, it is not working. Has anyone co Is there a manufacturer fault with dual function oven  model BQ1VD6T131?

@Shah2012: Which icon on the oven is blinking? It may be that there is no water inside the oven, or that de-scaling is required. To find out more, please check page 9 of the user manual via the link below.

Dear AndrewL,

The icon that is blinking is the steam oven one. It does not allow me to do anything beyond that. If I turn the temp guage, then, the oven switches on, but no steam, so, the steam function is not working.

There is water in the oven drawer and the de-scaling icon is not blinking. I have been through the manual, but it does not mention anything about the icon that is blinking.

I had the online chat and was pointed to the user manual which is not informational at all for this problem. I eventually got through to speak to someone over the phone and have been directed to call an engineer in.
