American style fridge

fridge is not cool its quite warm in there? been told to turn off for 1 hour(to reset it)...then back on and leave it for 6 hours? ANY HELP WILL BE MASSIVELY APPRECIATED..

What's the model code of your fridge? Have you double checked the settings to ensure they've not been adjusted?

ive tried to change the setting to number 3 but keeps going back to number 9???

Does sun shine on the appliance or are there any heat sources nearby? Is the back of the appliance too close to the wall?

hi no it doesnt... the fridge has been in same place for 3 years
