Hi
VPN PPTP work on the Phone
-- BUT --
If I enable Hotspot of S9 and i connect my PC to HotSpot of S9, I can't connect to a PPTP VPN.
This is a problem of soft. Maybe Ports are blocked or protocol GRE ? But there is really a problem !
EDIT : With Samsung S7 => It work ! It's really a problem of S9 ...

So Apple and Andriod operating systems have removed the ability to PPTP using hotspot as they advised its a old protcol and to use a different protocol. If you are VPN into work server your IT department will need to enable CHAP or PAP in Routing and Remote Access on the server so you can VPN hope this help you all
I don't think this is true. This issue only happened with my device on the February 2018 software. Since updating last August, I have not had this problem. My S9 is currently fully up to date (April 2019) and I can connect to PPTP VPN without issue.

Authorize the Vpn application as Admin from security settings
