UI Pie - recentapp interface change sucks?

SOLVED
Apprentice

So basically I just system upgraded to Android Pie for my Samsung Galaxy S9.

The jury is still out for me overall, but theres one thing I cant seem to grasp.

I always have a lot of apps open. The recentapp interface used to be perfect for me for closing apps I wasnt really currently using, this declogging the interface.

With this update, I seem to have to manually close each app by opening them up individually. Surely that's not the way?

Is there a way I can still close these apps in the recentapp interface without having to open each one individually and close it?

Cheers.

Hi there, @Amateur.

A simple 'swipe up' will close the app from the recent apps menu. You also have the option to close all using the button below.

Any suggestion which mode to use for power saving? I notice now with the updates that my battery is draining faster.  Thanks.

@Marie541: The default is 'Optimised' and provides the recommended balance of performance and battery life, however you can try 'Medium Power Saving' mode by going to Settings > Device Care > Battery > Power Mode to limit some features.

I am getting used to it but I am so used to it being the way that it was that I'm really disliking it, one thing that I wont really be able to like in the future is the navigation bar settings, it seemed to know when to be visible and not visible when in the hidden mode, now it's always there and I'm accidently pressing home or recent apps, very annoying

I'm a bit the same actually. Slowly getting used to it.

Same here, I hate it from the begging, so disapoitment with this. There should be a change, or least option.
