Smart view not working

My Samsung TV shows up in devices, but it won't connect.

My husband's Sony Experia can cast to the TV though. Which makes me think it's something with my phone, and not the TV.

Any suggestions, other than setting my phone to factory settings! I'm scared to lose everything, and it still potentially not fix the problem.

Anyone? I've tried again and it asked for a code? Then once it did connect. But can't get it to again!
